Chardonnay / Margaret River / WesternAustralia
Voyager Estate are in pursuit of elegance, structure and refinement, within the low alcohol spectrum of Chardonnay. Early picking and wild ferments, exposure to grape solids and battonage gives the wine complexity with balance. Treatments in high quality French oak achieve a wine of generosity and grace, structured and refined. The fruit profile is distinctly Margaret River, the palate is long and tight, creamy with regional dried pear and pink grapefruit showing through, enriched by luxurious notes of mealyness and nut.

PinotBlanc / Yarra Valley / Victoria
Oval Vineyard was grafted to Pinot Blanc in 2011, it yields a steely, mineral driven style of Pinot Blanc with wonderful white flower, beeswax and green apple characters. The bunches are curiously coloured with a sprinkling of pink and green berries, quite fragrant as they ripen on the vine. Parcels are whole bunch pressed into a mix of fermenters and seasoned oak barriques, occasionally stirred to build texture and introduce complexity. Its engaing aromatics, savouryness and briny dryness, is balanced by delicious white nectarine, citrus and almond notes.

Favorita / Yarra Valley / Victoria
Favorita is a very close relative of Vermentino, grown to a lower section of the Art Martin Vineyard at Dixons Creek, a closely planted, north facing fertile block which yields finely structured, delicately textural wines. Grapes are all hand picked and gently pressed directly to large oak casks for a natural yeast ferment, gently stirred for creaminess and texture, followed by six months maturation. Gently aromatic with racy notes of citrus over a crisp mineral palate, Favorita is the wine of choice to match alongside cheese inspired recipes, welsh rarebit and fondue.

Greco / Yarra Valley / Victoria
The ancient Romans didn't invent wine but they certainly made it their own, even assigning a deity to the pleasurable pastime of imbibing the inebriant fruit. Bacchus was the pagan god in charge, he would call to his congregants Vinoque, vinoque! when his cup ran dry. State of the art viticulture and good old fashioned hand picking is followed by a course of traditional vinifications, to achieve a generously proportioned wine that's finely structured and beautifully balanced. Give your Greco a go alongside sardines, cheese melts and moussaka.

PinotGris Grigio / Marlborough / NewZealand
Villa Maria selects clones of Pinot Gris that produce lower yields with smaller bunches, which translates into more concentrated flavours. The viticulturists spend a great deal of time monitoring and adjusting the crop levels to make sure the vines are carrying the right amount of grapes. Low yields of two to three kilos per vine, timely leaf plucking and canopy management activities concentrate the flavours in the grapes. Although this leads to a smaller harvest, the emphasis is placed on quality not quantity, culminating in a fully opulent Pinot Gris wine.
